And yes, it IS a bit bleak out there, but the hour is about to change and we can all get cosy and dream of real fireplaces and lactose free hot chocolate soon, so, silver linings and all that. I am personally going to be putting the tree up in about a week and no-one can stop me. Aside from that, I got the Greggs app - love me some Greggs- and got a free latte so IDKBU but I’m winning! :)
In other good news, I have some new music coming out for your aural pleasurez and it drops this Friday- whoop! Did I mention that earlier? Hehe. Plus I have a live show coming up…more below but here is the video
Yup darlings, ‘Karma’ is finally out on the 25th October- this is so entirely embarrassing but I thought 12am on the 25th meant SATURDAY because, a) my brain is useless and b) I still haven’t learnt the days of the week properly. So yeah, Friday early hours, it is PARTY time! Whoop! I must do an insta live Thursday late eve to announce it…remind me please! An Evening With Alexis Strum- 18th November 2024
At this stage in my career, I am all about ‘chill’ and ‘relationships’. I want to bring you into my world and give you an intimate experience of these songs so that we can talk about them, I can get your feedback and the new album will grow from there. I will obvs deffo play some Strum classics from days of yore when cargo pants and skinny brows were the thang. The gig is on 18th November at The Cavendish Arms in London at 8pm and you can come with your questions and items to be signed- boobs, butts, the lot. Just don’t bring a baby for me to annoint or owt because it’s strictly over 18’s. I think.
Here is a link to get tickets. It will be restricted ticketing so make sure to get one or two fast because I am not sure when the next gig will be. Doing all of this music lark is a LOT of admin and I am not always the best at getting all the info out there- also sometimes I forget what I should be prioritising. I know that it is almost lunch tho.

Tell people about my music on forums/in person/whilst you’re having your bits waxed or your hair did. It’s amazing how powerful the word of mouth is.
But really, I just hope you enjoy the music. I don’t expect anyone to be able to have any excess cash in this climate so even just to have you listen and engage, is really appreciated. I plan on sticking around for the long haul and every single play matters.
